Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of Trip Jury (the “Service”), operated by Land Far Away, LLC (“we,” “us,” or “our”). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the Service.

The Service

Trip Jury helps a group plan a trip together: a host creates an event, invites people, everyone shares preferences and availability, and the Service produces a group summary and suggestions. Recommendations and the playful “roasts” are for entertainment only.

Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. By using it, you represent that you are.

Your responsibilities

• Provide accurate information and keep your login secure.
• Permission to invite. When you enter another person’s name and email to invite them, you represent that you have their permission to share that information with us and to have us email them about the trip.
• Use the Service only for planning genuine trips with people you know — not for marketing, spam, or sending unwanted messages.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful, harassing, or abusive purpose;
• Upload other people’s personal information without permission;
• Attempt to disrupt, overload, or gain unauthorized access to the Service; or
• Misrepresent your identity or impersonate others.

Your content

You keep ownership of the information and content you submit. You grant us a limited license to use, store, and display that content as needed to operate and provide the Service.

Communications

By using the Service, you consent to receive trip-related emails (such as invitations, reminders, and confirmations). Recipients can opt out of further emails by contacting us.

Third-party services

The Service relies on third-party providers (for example, hosting and email delivery). We are not responsible for the acts or omissions of those providers.

Disclaimers

The Service is provided “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free, that recommendations will suit your trip, or that any trip will actually happen. The Service does not provide professional travel, financial, or legal advice.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Land Far Away, LLC and its affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, arising out of or related to your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed one hundred U.S. dollars ($100).

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Land Far Away, LLC from claims arising out of your misuse of the Service or violation of these Terms, including any claim that you invited someone without permission.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate access to the Service at any time if you violate these Terms or to protect the Service. You may stop using the Service at any time.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. You agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Washington.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the effective date above. Continued use of the Service after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
